...concerts "from scratch"

The idea behind these concerts "from scratch" is simple : there are certain great choral works that amateur vocalists really love to sing. But it is a pleasure that is rarely possible because these pieces require a large group and a substantial investment.
Why not take advantage of the festival to perform a favourite piece "from scratch " ? How it works : you have already sung the Mozart Requiem or Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Gloria or Orff's Carmina Burana. Just turn up with your voice and your score and in 45 minutes we'll rehearse and perform a concert (with piano accompaniment) using selected choice extracts. You'll be performing with all the other singers from the festival under the direction of a top conductor. Satisfaction guaranteed !
